Poh Kong Jewellers commenced business in 1976 ("PKJ") specialized in retailing and manufacturing of exquisite jewellery. It started from humble beginnings, trading from a mere total area of 55 square feet with a total stock value of RM200,000. In 1982, expansion started with the first branch being set up in SS2, occupying a floor space area of 1,500 square feet and staff force of 20 people. The expansion pace in the 80's was gradual.
